What We Do
Pointsflare checks public deal sources every 5 minutes for credit card points and miles deals: Amex and Chase offers, shopping portal bonuses, airline and hotel promotions, and card benefit credits. Each deal is ranked by points per dollar, so a $200 flight credit and a hotel promotion sit on the same scale, and matched to the cards you hold.
Card sign up bonuses and bank account bonuses are left out. How we score every deal is on the Disclosures page.
Where We Are Today
Pointsflare is in a private beta, by invite. An iPhone app is on its way to a TestFlight beta. Join the waitlist below and we will email you when your invite is ready.
Who Writes The Guides
About This Byline
"Pointsflare Editorial" is the byline on guides and deal pages written by the Pointsflare team. It is not a person.
How These Articles Are Made
- Each guide starts from a list of sources: issuer and program terms pages first, then established points publications as secondary sources.
- A draft is written with AI help from those sources. Every number in the draft is linked to where it came from, with the date it was read.
- A person, the Pointsflare Editor, checks each figure against its source, corrects anything that does not match, and approves the page before it is published. His name appears on every article as "Reviewed By".
- Guides are rechecked at least every 90 days, and the "Updated" date changes when they are.
We do this because readers should know who wrote a page and how. Google's guidance for publishers asks the same (Google Search Central, "Creating Helpful, Reliable, People-First Content", updated 2025-12-10, read 2026-09-30).
What This Byline Does Not Claim
It does not claim personal travel experience, professional financial credentials or relationships with any bank. Point values and deal grades on these pages are opinions with the method shown, not financial advice.
